The goals continued to flow for Mexico at the Gold Cup on Sunday night, although Reds striker Javier Hernandez failed to get on the scoresheet in his side's 4-1 win over Costa Rica.Hernandez netted five times in the tournament's first two games, including a hat-trick in the opener against El Salvador, but couldn't find a way past Costa Rica goalkeeper Keilor Navas on this occasion.

Uncharacteristically, the 23-year-old squandered a number of one-on-one chances during the game before he was forced from the field in the 84th minute when an off-the-ball incident left him nursing a black eye.
Sunday's victory sends Mexico into the knockout stages as Group A winners and they'll face one of the two best third-placed teams from Group B or Group C in the quarter-finals.
